NATIONAL NIGHT OUT
The first Tuesday of August each year marks the annual National Night Out Against Crime and Drugs. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live. Neighbors participate across thousands of communities from all 50 states, United States territories, Canadian cities, and military bases worldwide.
Racine Neighborhood Watch, Inc. has been helping local residents mark this annual event for 28 years. This year communities across the country celebrated National Night Out on Tuesday, August 6, 2019. Locally, more than 6,000 Racine-area residents will be attending 60+ registered special events celebrating the occasion.
